VPN Sharing
FlexPass is a VPN platform designed to make secure internet access more accessible by allowing users to connect through another user's VPN connection without requiring their own premium subscription.
I designed the experience around a peer-to-peer sharing model where VPN owners can securely invite other users through Flex Share. Hosts can manage connected devices, create and change access PINs, and monitor active sessions, while guests can join through an invitation and establish their own encrypted connection. The product focuses on simplifying a technically complex experience while building trust through clear connection information, host verification, privacy explanations, encryption details, and transparent session controls.
Potential Impact
FlexPass could make secure VPN access more accessible by reducing the need for individual premium subscriptions while introducing a safer way to share VPN connectivity. By combining peer-to-peer access, controlled permissions, and transparent privacy features, the product has the potential to make secure internet access more affordable, collaborative, and easier to understand.
